                                                                   Magnesium and Insulin: Restoring Oxidative Phosphorylation
 

 When magnesium is depleted in mitochondria, oxidative
 phosphorylation is greatly suppressed.

 The process of oxidative phosphorylation produces
 energy and ATP for all cells.

 When you add back insulin the energy production
 improves.

 But when adding magnesium after the insulin to these
 damaged cells and mitochondria their energy production
 goes back to normal.
