This is a graphical representation showing
how ADP, a low energy compound, is
converted to ATP a high-energy phosphorous
compound.

This conversion occurs when magnesium is
present and oxygen is being utilized as well 
as all the other materials for food that are
necessary to a culture of living mitochondria.

The state 3 shown in this diagram is the high-energy
state.

State 4 is the resting state.
