Highly enlarged electron micrograph images show many
of the F1 lollipop particles extruding from within an isolated
inner membrane of a healthy mitochondria.

These F1 particles are about the size of viruses and can
only be seen using special techniques and using an
electron microscope.

These are not drawings; these are the actual appearance of
the inner membrane of the mitochondria under Electron
