                                                                 Magnesium Depletion Depresses ATP Production in Diabetic Cells
 

 When magnesium is depleted and without insulin,
 the ATPase F1 inner sub units of the mitochondria
 retract into their membranes; very little energy
 is produced in diabetic cells and the mitochondria.

 When magnesium is depleted and without insulin

 These are mitochondria which have been opened using
 ultrasound. When properly treated and in a proper
 solution, they are capable of metabolic function.
